Hold onto your hats*, folks, because Chris Angel Murphy (they/them) has turned LGBTQ+ allyship into an adventure you don't want to miss! Support the thoughtful, laugh-out-loud, 3x award-nominated podcast "Allyship is a Verb" and help us go on tour!
*Or butts if you're not a hat person. But you may not be a butt person, either. Just… hold onto something!
Chris Angel, the host with an MSW degree and a big heart, dives into the world of LGBTQ+ experiences, expanding on concepts and in-community jokes so folks don't get lost in Google searches. They're also neuroqueer and nonbinary, so the work is deeply personal. Each guest shares personal stories and unique allyship tips. Some guests even come back because of big life updates!
“Chris Angel’s self-reflection questions will tickle your brain and heart in all the right ways.” - EdCarra
And now.. it's also going on tour, starting in Denver and the greater Colorado area!

Yep! We're planning a year-long exhibit tour across public and private venues, including LGBTQ+-owned businesses. Through unique gamified experiences, folks will learn more about the LGBTQ+ community while also being prompted to get active locally. Allyship is a Verb will be partnering with local LGBTQ+ nonprofits and share out specific calls to action. While supporting national nonprofits doing the work is great, folks are missing out on opportunities to get local and build relationships with the (sometimes scrappy) nonprofits making a difference in their own community.
“This podcast has just skyrocketed the idea of what I thought I knew and how much I need to learn.” - Gwernthk

Interested in bringing the podcast to your workplace or group? Here's a sample of what the training series perk looks like:
The sad reality is that our community is under attack, with tensions mounting. The ACLU is tracking 491 anti-LGBTQ bills in the U.S. for just the 2023 legislative session alone, including 45 states that have specifically proposed anti-trans bills. Similar attacks have been happening in places like the UK. We need folks to actively practice allyship! We can't fight all of this alone.
